The East End of Rundle (EEOR) trailhead is located at Whiteman's Pond dam at the top of Canmore Hill, with two parking areas available. The trail starts between two flagged power poles and begins with a quick ascent through the woods via switchbacks. Hikers should keep an eye out for well-worn trails and downed trees to stay on track. As you climb, enjoy views of Ha Ling Peak and Mount Lawrence Grassi. The trail leads to a small ridge before reaching a steep scree section and eventually the summit at 2,545m. The total hike is quite difficult, but there is a lookout point about halfway up. There are some small spots in the rocks with views of Whiteman's Pond once you get above the treeline. It's only about 1.2km down the trail but is quite steep to get to. The end of the trail has a lot of scree and scrambling so is only recommended for experienced hikers.
