Kobe Port Tower is an iconic landmark in the city of Kobe. Completed in 1963, the 108-meter tower was designed to resemble a traditional hourglass-shaped Japanese drum. At night, this sightseeing structure comes alive with red latticing and entwined lighting, making it one of the most breathtaking sights in the city. Visitors can admire stunning views of the city from the observation decks located inside the tower. The Port Tower is currently undergoing renovation work and is closed to the public until 2023 when it is scheduled to reopen.
