Tojinbo is a stretch of rugged basalt cliffs along the Sea of Japan coast near Fukui City. The cliffs, carved out by crashing waves, reach up to 30 meters high and offer stunning views of the ocean. Visitors can explore the area on foot, checking out deep chasms and unique rock formations. Legend has it that Tojinbo is named after a monk who met an unfortunate end here.
