Wedgemount Lake (located in Garibaldi Provincial Park) is one of the BEST places we’ve camped in British Columbia. There are plenty of wooden tent pads near the lake (upper ones as pictured and beside the lake), and even a hut that can sleep 8 people (first come, first serve). It’s quite a popular place to camp in the Summer, so if possible, we suggest going on a weekday. To camp, you need to book a tent pad online which you can here! The hike up is steep and relentless, but once you’re there you’ll realize that the hard work was worth the effort! It took us around 6 hours roundtrip with an overnight backpack on.
