Old Baldy Mountain is located in Cowichan Valley Regional District on Vancouver Island (only a short 30 minute drive from Victoria!). It’s an easy/ moderate hiking trail that takes you above Shawnigan Lake and has a secret swing at the top. This spot is mostly known among locals, and is a great spot to have a picnic and watch the sun go down. To access this trail, find parking along the street and make your way up this relatively short but steep trail to the top! The swing is located at the very top, so keep walking if you don’t see it!
