The Rialto Bridge is one of Venice's most iconic landmarks, spanning the Grand Canal with its elegant, arched structure. Completed in 1591, it was the first bridge to connect the two sides of the canal, serving as a vital link for the city's trade and commerce. The bridge is flanked by rows of shops, offering a mix of jewellery and souvenirs shops.
Rialto Bridge is a must see in Venice and you'll likely pass on this bridge on your way to St Mark's Square. The views from here are some of the best in the city!
Somethings to keep in mind: as it's the main link over the Grand Canal is definitely overcrowded. Be careful on your belongings as it's a spot where pickpockets target tourists. Put your bag on the front.
To take a photo of it, the best spot is from the small dock on the right side of the canal, where I took the second photo :)
