Kyra Panagia Beach is a beautiful beach with turquoise waters and stunning cliffs that make it a picture-perfect spot. The beach is located on the eastern side of the island. From Pigadia you'll be able to drive here in 30 minutes.
In high season this beach can feel crowded, also with parking. The later you arrive to more you'll have to walk to the beach. Still, it is worth a visit and if you can visit it off-season that's even better of course!
Kyra Panagia is also famous for the iconic church perched on a cliff. This church is one of the most photographed churches in Greece and from here you'll have an amazing panoramic view!
In our opinion, the restaurants located directly on the beach aren't the best food-wise. We'd recommend Sofias Taverna which is a little more 'up'. They serve authentic Greek food and they have a daily menu with fresh dishes.
