Scenic viewpoint with panoramic city views of traditional Alfama houses with red roofs & churches.
Miradouro das Portas do Sol is one of the best places to admire Lisbon from high above. From its panoramic view, visitors can see what looks like a colorful Mediterranean village cascading down to the waterfront, including the towers of the Monastery of St. Vincent and the dome of the National Pantheon standing out in the skyline. It's also possible to get an amazing photo at sunrise from this terrace, with the statue of St. Vincent welcoming people to explore the viewpoint. Nearby attractions include the castle, the Decorative Arts Museum, the Roman Theater, and many more. Visitors can access it via trams 12 and 28, or bus 737, which stops just a few feet away. Enjoy a romantic stay at one of the nearby hotels after your visit!
