Aqaba Fort, also known as Aqaba Castle, is a historic Mamluk and Ottoman fortress located in Jordan. Built mainly in the 16th century, it served as a fortified caravanserai on the pilgrimage route to Mecca and Medina. The fort witnessed a significant victory during the Arab Revolt in 1917 when it fell to an Arab camel charge. Today, it stands as a reminder of the region's rich history and is a popular tourist attraction in Aqaba.
