This trail starts in the village of Sistelo, in the Largo do Visconde do Rio Vez, about 22 km from Arcos de Valdevez. We recommend taking the EN101 towards Monção, which is an pleasant drive along the banks of the Vez. About 9km from Arcos de Valdevez, turn right towards the parish of Aboim das Choças.
