Playa Nacascolo is a hidden gem on the Papagayo Peninsula. It is known for its calm, peaceful water and plenty of wildlife. The beach is surrounded by shrubby tropical dry forest and mangroves. With the undisturbed sea, the water is usually crystal clear and great for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can spot spotted eagle rays, pufferfish, minnows, white-faced capuchins and coati right at the beach. Access to Playa Nacascolo is only available through the private resorts near by, but access is free with a shuttle bus ride from a parking area. This fun and unique beach is not to be missed!
