Right in the north of Portugal, on the green banks of the River Minho, lies one of the most surprising walkways in Portugal. We are talking about the Passadiços de Melgaço, the brightest star of the Percursos Marginais do Rio Minho trail.
These fantastic walkways were built over an old waterway that follows the curves of the River Minho, crossing idyllic forests of oak and laurel trees, which seem to have been taken from a fantasy book. The views over the Minho River are breathtaking!
