This popular campground is on the smaller size with only 34 sites (and one is for cyclists only). The best sites are backdropped by the namesake lake. All are available on a first come, first serve basis only, with no reservations available.
This is a good place to be based if being surrounded by nature is more important than amenities and town conveniences (available closer to Jasper). This area was not affected by the 2024 wildfires.
A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Jasper National Park ($22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people).
