Deckers is a chill little spot in Colorado along the South Platte River. It started off as a general store built by a dude named Stephen Decker back in the 1890s. He even added a saloon and called the place "Daffodil." There are natural springs around, which led to Deckers Mineral Springs and Resort becoming a popular spot for fly-fishing. The area got some attention in 2002 when a big forest fire, the Hayman Fire, blazed through. Now, the U.S. Post Office at Sedalia handles Deckers' mail. Plus, there's a cool camp called Ramah in the Rockies that's been running since 2010. Just a laid-back community with a bit of history and nature vibes going on.
