The Palazzo degli Spiriti in Marechiaro, Naples, is a mysterious and enchanting ancient Roman structure along the Posillipo coast. Some call it Villarosa or Villa di Virgilio. Built in the 1st century BC, this ruined palace was part of the Pausilypon complex and possibly used for breeding murene eels. Legend has it that the site is haunted by ancient spirits, including those of the poet Virgilio. Despite its historical significance, during summer it's often used as a diving platform, adding a touch of adventure to its ghostly allure.
