The Otago Peninsula Eco Restoration Alliance (OPERA) offers a unique sightseeing experience. Visitors have the chance to get up close and personal with the wildlife of New Zealand, while also playing a part in conservation efforts for endangered species. On their tours, visitors may see yellow-eyed and little blue penguins in their natural habitat, as well as seals and sea lions. A highlight is when guests can observe juvenile penguins rehabilitating before being released into the wild. In addition to seeing these incredible animals, guests learn about the PARK’s efforts to conserve and protect them. It is truly an unforgettable experience!
