Poulnabrone Dolmen is a large dolmen located in the Burren, County Clare, Ireland, and dates to the Neolithic period. This impressive monument consists of a slab-like capstone supported by two pillar stones and two portal stones marking its entrance. Poulnabrone has long been a tourist attraction, with its visage standing as a testament to the lives of Neolithic farmers living thousands of years ago. Excavations have revealed that over thirty individuals were buried here in the span of 600 years, and have well preserved artifacts including pottery, jewelry, and weapons from the same time period. Revered both as a cultural artifact and a marvel of engineering, Poulnabrone Dolmen is an incredible experience that must be seen to be believed.
