Criolla Cooking & Wine is a cooking class and dining experience in Palermo Soho. It starts early because you'll spend the first couple of hours preparing your own meal that you'll indulge in at the end of the night.
We learned how to prepare a vermouth cocktail to sip on with a charcuterie platter while our chef's welcomed us. Then we were each given tasks and instructions, learning how to close empanadas like a pro, how to prepare the meat, and how to make chipa.
For the meal, meat was impeccably cooked and served with Andean potatoes. We also ate our chipa and empanadas.
The space is also incredibly stylish and photogenic and wines are presented by a resident sommelier.
Kids of 12 and up are welcome for traditional cooking classes but for wine tastings or special workshops you mus tbe 18 and up.
