El Obrero is a popular Bodegon restaurant in La Boca. Like all bodegones, the menu features traditional Argentine dishes like pasta and milanesa, as well as Spanish dishes (their tortilla does not disappoint, get it "bien babe" for a juicy runny egg), and hearty homemade stews like abuela made.
The walls are decked out with paraphernalia like football banners and photos of celebrities and athletes who have dined here. I LOVE El Obrero.
In recent years, they've closed their lunch service. So you'll only be able to go for dinner, make a reservation and take a taxi or Uber there and back. Do not wander this neighborhood after dark.
