Lezama Plaza, located in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, is a public park with a lot of history. Once a private garden, it's now a public space to enjoy its hilly walkways, sculptures, and sunny spots for sharing a mate with friends.
There is a lot to see right on the outskirts of this park, like the National Historical Museum and the Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
Don't miss the historic bars El Británico and El Hipopótamo for two frozen in time, old school bars. For more upscale restaurants, head to Avenida Caseros just a block away.
With kids? There is a fantastic playground here to let them run wild for a while.
