Narrowest house in Buenos Aires

La Casa Mínima in Buenos Aires is the narrowest house in the city, measuring just 8.2 feet wide at its widest point.

Legend has it that it was once owned by a freed slave, but historical studies suggest a more mundane origin story. Originally part of a larger home, it ended up as a standalone slice due to some questionable real estate decisions.

Tours: You can visit inside the house. To do so, you need to buy tickets across the street on Calle Defense in the Zanjon de Granados building. Tours are limited - usually only on weekends and holidays, once a day. Honest take: It was interesting to see inside but if you're on limited time, the tour of the Zanjon de Granados structure and its tunnels was far more interesting.
