Where to see tango like a local?
El Boliche de Roberto.
There are 3 live shows of tango nightly, 365 days a year.
Get there early to get a seat, the space is small. We got there just before 8 and it was worth the early arrival. The show starts at 8:30 give or take and goes into the early hours of the morning.
There's a brief menu of pizza and empanadas and of course, plenty of drinks.
This isn't a tango show, there is no dancing. This is the music and the performances are fantastic. The best part is when employees and long time clients take the mic and join the show.
This isn’t your average tourist tango show. These are the musicians, the singer performs their songs but the best part? When the audience and waitstaff take their turn to sing.
