Arandu Talabartería is a family-owned business founded in 1987, filling a gap in Buenos Aires for top-quality products related to country activities and traditions.
They offer a wide range of items like clothing, footwear, accessories, and traditional Argentinean crafts.
I always recommend a visit to Arandu, just a couple blocks from the Recoleta Cemetery, for souvenir shopping. Even if you don't plan on buying much, the store itself is stunning - housed in a beautiful historic home.
You'll find souvenirs for all budgets from keychains and mate cups to beautiful leather belts and bags. They make my favorite alpargatas - espadrilles worn by gauchos (the inspiration for Toms) - so pick up a pair or two while here.
