Para thin ALOS, translated in English to "By the SEA" cafe, is a cute little spot, located right on the beach.
The three main reasons why I would heartily recommend this place are 1. its laid-back, mellow vibes and atmosphere (it's something that defines Crete, particularly all of the south coast), 2. the food is ridiculously delicious. I had the kayianas breakfast (it's the Greek scrambled eggs) and it seriously tasted so fresh. Same for the "sfakiani" pie. And 3. when the bill came, I couldn't believe how inexpensive the total sum was. We paid 14 euros for one sfakiani pie, one kayianas and two delicious ham and cheese toasts.
So grab a seat, soak in the seaside ambiance, and indulge in some good food with your favourite company over at Para thin ALOS cafe.
