Palazzo Borromeo is a 14th-century building originally belonging to the Borromeo family. It served as their home and business headquarters, showcasing a mix of late Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Despite being damaged during World War II, the palace was restored to its former glory. With an impressive fresco cycle from the 1440s, Palazzo Borromeo stands as a prime example of a Milanese patrician palace, blending history and elegance in the heart of the city.
