The Véu da Noiva Waterfall, located on the old road between São Vicente and Seixal on Madeira's north coast, is a popular and picturesque spot. This stunning waterfall, named for its resemblance to a bride's veil, cascades down a cliff toward the sea, surrounded by greenery. The nearby viewpoint offers breathtaking views of both the waterfall and the vast Atlantic Ocean, making it a must-see destination for nature lovers.
Just to imagine that there was an old road and a tunnel going exactly where the waterfall is now. If you look closely, you will see a shape of a landslide. For safety reason the road has been closed since the collapse of it and a fence is restricting the entree.
Nearby the viewpoint you can also find a local souvenirshop.
