The Emmaus Monastery was established in 1347 and is a Benedictine abbey with a rich history. The monastery features beautiful Gothic cloisters decorated with original wall paintings from the 14th century. After the monastery grounds suffered serious damage during WWII, the church was reconstructed, during which the demolished towers were replaced by concrete shell wings with gilded tips. In my opinion it isn't worth paying to visit inside, you can check it out from the outside!
