The Fronalpstock is one of the mountains that offers you an amazing alpine feeling while being very near to Zurich. Starting at Zurich main station it takes you only about 55 minutes by train to reach Näfels the starting point for this hike. From there you will have to ascent for some time until reaching the peak. Just before reaching the peak there is a white-blue path. This means that the path should only be accessed by experienced hikers. From the top you will get amazing views over to the Tödi which you see in the third picture.
