A gentle hike up to a great city viewpoint.
About Braemar Hill Peak
Braemar Hill offers amazing views of the Hong Kong skyline - and it's just so accessible.
Get up here a litttle before sunset, pick a spot to sit and enjoy the view while the sun dips and the lights turn on.
Make sure you bring some water - the heat in Hong Kong can get suffocating at times and there's nowhere on the actual hill to pick some up.
Once you're there, if the 'main' rocks are taken, feel free to go for a wander around - there's plenty of rocky outposts on there to sit and enjoy the views from.
Getting to Braemar Hill
There are a few different ways but this is the easiest by far.
Take a bus up to Braemar Hill Bus Terminus
Spot the small alleyway across the road and follow the path up - it'll eventually turn into a dirt track.
On the path up there'll be a small trail signalled by some red ribbons attached to trees - head up until you reach the clearing and voila - one of the best views in Hong Kong.
