The Leshan Giant Buddha is a massive 71-meter tall stone statue located in Sichuan, China - just a short train journey from Chengdu.
Built between 713 and 803 during the Tang dynasty, the giant statue sits on the river's edge, looking over the town.
The statue, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the more iconinc sites in China and receives millions of visitors a year.
Looking to get a different view? By the entrance there are multilpe places where you can hop on a short ferry to see the statue from the water.
Drone pilots, beware.. While some do getway with it, flying drones are technically banned here and there are signal jammers set up around the site that can lead to a bad ending...
