Muiderslot is a medieval castle located in the Dutch town of Muiden, near Amsterdam. A quaint town, which is worth visiting as well for its cute restaurants by the water. Built in 1285, this castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Netherlands and is a popular tourist attraction!
The castle is surrounded by a moat and has a drawbridge, a gatehouse, and a keep. The gardens are very nice and you can also walk on the castle walls. Inside, visitors can explore the castle's many rooms, including the Great Hall, the Knight's Hall, and the Chapel. The castle also houses a museum, which displays artifacts from the castle's history.
