Ikseon-Dong is a hidden gem in Seoul that often gets overshadowed by more popular areas like Gangnam or Myeongdong. But let me tell you, this place is something special! It's a traditional Korean village with charming hanok houses, but what sets it apart was remaking all those old hanok houses into cafes and restaurants and that's what makes it trendy and hip vibe. You'll find the coolest cafes, stylish boutiques, and mouthwatering restaurants here. And the best part? The whole area is picture-perfect, making it a dream for Instagrammers. So if you're looking for a unique and off-the-beaten-path experience in Seoul, don't miss out on Ikseon-Dong!
Tips before going there:
1. If you want to take photos without people, we recommend to come here before 12 pm. Most of the shops are closed before then, so taking photos in the morning would be nice if you feel shy or don't want too many people in your shots.
2. Taking photos at 3-4 pm during Golden Hour time is bombastic! Yes, it will be very crowded. But the golden light is so nice here during Golden Hour time it's worth it to have a photoshoot during that time as well. Give it a try!
Things to do:
1. Try different cafes and restaurant
2. Booking a photoshoot with us to capture your Ikseondong trip! hehe
Having a "Couple photoshoot" here is rather better than the group shoots(it might be a bit hard to take photos as a group, especially if you are a family of 4 or more cuz the streets are very narrow). But the place is very good for solo or couple travellers.
