This beautiful torii was built by the lakeside in 1952 to commemorate the Treaty of San Francisco that ended the Allied occupation of Japan. Visitors flock here to see the iconic red shrine gate rising out of the water, giving off major Miyajima vibes
Its quite iconic to the region so aim to go here early in the morning as you explore the rest of Hakone through the day!
