We are grateful to Gunnar for his consistency & helpful communication throughout our booking process! His guide made it easier to navigate Reykjavik and its hidden gems.  The new addition of the Tasting Tour of Reykjavik was a highlight of our trip! Our guides, Shruthi and Kasia, took us on a flavorful adventure that included fresh, hyper-local Icelandic ingredients and amazing, new takes on global delicacies. Every meal was both innovative and appetizing!  They taught us not only about Icelandic culture throughout time but also how it has influenced their burgeoning food scene. The great conversation and food were an outstanding way to kick off our trip. Never have I left a food tour more full and well-informed. These women know how to stay current and are fostering great relationships within their community!

The value provided by Gunnar via his guides, recommendations, and direct interaction far exceeded the cost for his services. I would have spent weeks on my own working to replicate what he provided (and I'm sure would not have ended up with an itinerary that was so perfect).

I sent Gunnar a detailed response to his survey that helped shape his recommendations (including the fact that we're vegan). Gunnar spent time crafting a trip that turned out to be perfect for us .. down to restaurant suggestions to ensure there was always a good vegan option.

His response time when I had questions or additional thoughts to help shape the trip was very fast. Highly recommend!!

We spent 11 days doing ring road and Gunnar's ultimate guide was truly perfect. We combined multiple itineraries in his guide to pull the what we liked most for sight seeing, food, and tours. All of the recommendations were incredible. All the food options were super impressive, and Gunnar even gave us some quick recommendations when we wanted to have a fancy dinner our last night in Reykjavik. Can't recommend him enough.
