Personalized itinerary

I've been thrice before to Iceland but never during winter time. Gunnar's advice on how to adapt an itinerary of 10 days to the shortest days of the year was really useful. The itinerary itself is entirely customizable and it's really easy to edit it without external help, with the other references of the guide or with personal notes or links. Gunnar answered my questions rapidly.

Gunnar’s guide is a gold mine of information and offers an insider’s expertise when planning a trip to Iceland. I felt pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out how to plan a once in a lifetime trip to Iceland for my family - who don’t like guided tours and would prefer to explore on their own. Gunnar’s guide made me feel like I could pull it together and it’s presented in an incredibly user friendly format. Looking forward to using it as a reference when we get over there and we will certainly be prepared if we have to make unexpected changes to our itinerary. Gunnar’s guide was a tremendous help for my trip to Iceland. It had everything I needed to plan a great trip. I was overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do for my trip but purchasing Gunnar’s guide provided a great stress relief. I was able to create my own itinerary with the “Build You Own Itinerary” tool using recommendations from Gunnar’s extensive list of things to do and his other pre-made itineraries. It has everything I needed and more - even times where I saw something outside of Gunnar’s guide, I ended up checking if he had it listed and sure enough he did. So you can be sure it covers pretty much everything. It was also great for more spontaneous experiences during the trip. If I didn’t know where to eat one day, I could use the guide to see what was around me and pick a great restaurant that Gunnar had highlighted. I considered this a good investment for myself because I get this guide for life (which is great because I’ll definitely be going back to Iceland again) and I think this is a great alternative to booking a very expensive guided tour(s). Additionally, Gunnar was always quick in responding to any questions or concerns I had, giving me even more peace of mind.

I used the Gunnar’s guide during my travel in September 2024. It was really helpful when planning the trip as well as arranging improptu visits to unplanned sites. It is clear that Gunnar is knowledgeable about traveling along Iceland. Being local is not enough, experience makes the difference. Gunnar has the needed experience
