Let the professionals find the Aurora for you! There are a lot of different tour companies that offer Northern Lights tours but Icelandic Roamers is the BEST! They will pick you up in central Reykjavik (from the nearest bus stop to your hotel), take you out to where the lights are shining and you'll enjoy some hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. Plus, all of Icelandic Roamer's guides are professional photographers and their photos are included with your tour! This is one of the smallest group tours, especially for seeing the Northern Lights, with a maximum of 10 guests.

Please understand that seeing the Northern Lights is dependent on nature. If you don't see the lights on your tour or the tour is cancelled, Icelandic Roamers will work with you to either reschedule or provide a refund.

Though it is certainly possible for you to see the Northern Lights without a guide (see "How to Photograph the Northern Lights" under Travel Tips in your Rexby Guide), I often recommend booking a guided tour at the end of your trip if you're in Reykjavik, and if seeing the Lights is on the top of your bucket list. Taking a guided Northern Lights tour is also a good idea if you are uncomfortable driving in winter conditions at night.
