This location was the main reason we traveled all the way to Misool. It’s a lake filled with jellyfish that have lost their ability to sting because they have no natural predators. After a 10-minute hike to the lake, you can swim and spot countless jellyfish. It’s best to visit on a sunny day, as the jellyfish float closer to the surface when it’s bright. The entrance fee is around $3 per person.
Important tips: The jellyfish are delicate, so swimming with fins is not allowed. Avoid applying sunscreen or oils, and swim calmly to avoid harming them.
