Located on the north shore of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula, near the town of Grundarfjörður, Kirkjufell is a mountain with a distinctive shape that has earned it the nickname "Church Mountain". Thanks to its stunning formation and ideal coastal location, it is widely considered as 'the most photographed mountain in Iceland'.

The waterfall in front of this mountain is called Kirkjufellsfoss.

There is a big parking lot to visit this majestic mountain.
