Grafarkirkja turf church, located in North-Iceland, is renowned as the oldest turf church in Iceland and has earned a distinguished reputation. The present church, which incorporates parts dating back to the 17th century, is a rare historical site that is treasured both by locals and visitors. Situated at Gröf in Höfðaströnd, Grafarkirkja serves as the chapel in the area. However, only a few of these significant cultural sites still exist in Iceland, making Grafarkirkja a truly special and valuable place.
