Tyresta National Park and Nature Reserve, located in Stockholm County, Sweden, is a stunning natural area just a stone's throw away from central Stockholm. Covering about 47 square kilometers, this protected park boasts untouched forests, including some of the oldest pine trees in southern Sweden. Home to a diverse range of plant and animal species, it offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and explore historical buildings amidst the lush greenery. Despite a devastating fire in 1999, the park has bounced back, showcasing resilience and the power of nature's regeneration.
