Dating back to the 19th century and built on the site of an old monastery, this historic building serves as the seat of the Prefecture of Bari. It's usually closed to the public, so you can only admire its bright facade, BUT it is open occasionally throughout the year on 'FAI Days' (FAI = Italy's National Trust), allowing you to marvel at its luxurious interiors.
