The Mirador del Migdia (English: Midday Viewpoint) located in the Parc del Migdia offers one of the most unique spots of Barcelona with a spectacular view of the city, spanning from the top of the Zona Franca to Montjuïc Cemetery and part of Barcelona's port. This viewpoint includes a picnic area surrounded by pine trees, perfect for taking shelter from the sun and spending time with family. Nearby, La Caseta del Migdia is also a popular spot for locals serving drinks and food after the hike up the Mirador. It opens on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and is great for couples, families or groups of friends. Visitors can reach the site using the Funicular de Montjuïc from the Paral·lel Metro stop, take the Montjuïc Cable Car from the Montjuïc stop, or just take a 15-minute walk from the Mirador de l’Alcalde.
