Located in the Bahçekapı district of Istanbul, Ali Muhiddin Hacı Bekir Lokumları is renowned for its wide variety of Turkish Delight. It's a living museum where you can visit and taste different lokum varieties with interesting flavors such as rosewater, mastic gum, peppermint, pistachio, hazelnut, apricot, date, ginger, jam, orange, cinnamon and chocolate. Founded in 1777 by Hacı Bekir Efendi, this family-run business has been producing and selling the same secret recipe for more than 240 years. Here, they also produce the ever popular hard rock candy or akide şekeri, one of the oldest styles of Turkish confectionery.
