Grouse Mountain is a majestic ski area located in the District Municipality of North Vancouver, British Columbia. With a maximum elevation of over 1,200 meters, skiers can enjoy breathtaking views of Metro Vancouver while they race down 33 different runs supported by four chairlifts. The area also features several exciting summer activities such as disc golf, mountain biking, zip lining, tandem paragliding and guided ecowalkes. Travelling to the top is made easy with two aerial tramways. For those looking for a more strenuous experience, there's the Grouse Grind hiking trail which takes about 2.9 kilometers to complete. The area also hosts lumberjack shows, "Birds in Motion" birds of prey demonstrations and Canada's first high-definition theater, known as the Theatre in the Sky.
