The Bamboo Room in Miami is a hidden gem that offers a unique cocktail experience inside the Esmé Miami Beach Hotel. The lounge offers a cocktail menu designed to transport people into the past, present, and future of tiki culture. Nestled within a lush tranquil oasis, dimly lit lanterns, and exotic floral scents, this spot is all about escaping the ordinary and indulging in secret sips and forbidden flavors. The Bamboo Room is decorated with authentic, vintage artifacts such as glass floats from Tokyo and Osaka, tiki masks, and glass tiles from Thailand. Secluded alcoves offer private spaces for conversation, while communal areas encourage social interaction. These drinks have a story. They take you on a journey to London, Tokyo, and Dubai. The Park Lane, for instance, pays tribute to the iconic London Trader Vic’s and is made with Earl Gray-infused gin. The most intriguing cocktail on the Bamboo Room menu, has to be the Hinky Dinks. It’s a clarified Mai Tai that brings the classic tiki drink to a more sophisticated level. Tiki purists will also be sated with nearly a dozen classic tiki drinks. The hotel’s history aligns perfectly with Miami Beach's legendary story since this landmark building used to be home to Al Capone's illegal gambling headquarters in the 1930s. The Bamboo Room shares the hotel with Sushi Bar, so guests of the Omakase restaurant can start or end their night with some tiki cocktails. Just step in, unwind, and let the mystery unfold as you sip on some of the most intriguing cocktails in town. Days and hours of operation are Wednesday-Sunday 5:30PM to closing.
