Built between 1808 and 1810, Villa Melzi dā€™Eril was designed by architect Giacondo Albertolli for Francesco Melzi dā€™Eril, a prominent Italian politician and close ally of Napoleon. The villa served as a summer residence and reflects a Neoclassical style, surrounded by lush gardens that showcase the artistry of European landscaping during the 19th century. While the villa itself is private and not open to the public, its gardens are the main attraction. Youā€™re going to love a visit here!
