This itinerary designed to short 3 days trip and includes all main locations that island has to offer. My advise is always to check the weather forecast on local sites and see webcameras for the following day before starting the trip. You can change the order of days accordingly to the weather.
This day is to explore South part of Sao Miguel island. It is quite easy and not dependable much on the weather since roads are not so difficult in this part of the island. Hot springs also can be visited and enjoyed even in rainy or foggy wather (I personally even prefer it with mystic fog).
