Housed within the repurposed former Asahi Elementary School, it offers a unique lodging experience that blends historical charm with modern amenities.

Accommodation Details:

  • Room Types: The guesthouse features dormitory-style rooms equipped with bunk beds. There are eight rooms accommodating three guests each and two rooms for four guests. Please note that the upper bunk beds are not recommended for children under 12 or elderly guests.

  • Facilities: Shared facilities include gender-segregated showers and toilets, a common lounge area, and a communal kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Laundry facilities are also available for guest use.

  • Amenities: While bedding is provided, items such as towels, toiletries, and sleepwear are available for rent or purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring their own to enhance comfort during their stay.

  • On-Site Café: The guesthouse houses "Café Koko," which serves breakfast and dinner upon prior reservation. Breakfast is priced at ¥600, and dinner at ¥1,000. The café also offers takeout options and party platters with advance notice.

  • Rates: The standard rate for an adult is ¥3,500 per night (tax included). Children aged 3 to 12 are charged ¥1,750 per night, and children under 3 stay free without a bed. Discounts are available for extended stays: 5% off for 5-6 nights, 10% off for 7-14 nights, and 20% off for stays exceeding 15 nights.

  • Fragrance-Free Policy: The guesthouse promotes a fragrance-free environment to accommodate guests with sensitivities. Guests are kindly requested to refrain from using scented products during their stay.

  • Nearby Attractions: Asahi no Oyado is situated within the "Nasu Machizukuri Hiroba" complex, which includes a natural food store and offers easy access to local attractions such as Nasu Flower World and Nasu Rindoh-ko Lake View.
