This trailhead to Mt. Bandai offers breathtaking views of Lake Inawashiro. To make the ascent easier, consider taking the summer lift, as hiking up the ski slopes can be challenging. There are also relaxation decks where you can enjoy a coffee between July and October.

Lift Information

• Availability: Weekends and holidays, July 13 - October 27, 2024

• Full Summer Operation: Daily from July 20 - August 31, 2024

• Altitude: Lift takes hikers to 1,100m in 20 minutes, reducing the total trek to the summit to about 2 hours.

• Ideal For: Beginners can ride the lift both up and down for a less strenuous hike.

Location: Inawashiro Ski Resort – No. 1 Quad (Base Slope) and No. 6 Pair (Sky Slope)

• No. 1 Quad Lift: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (last uphill ride at 2:30 PM)

• No. 6 Pair Lift: 7:30 AM - 2:40 PM (last uphill ride at 2:10 PM)
