Sightseeing
Cherry blossoms during mid to late April offer a stunning view here, with Mt. Fuji in the background and Yamanashi’s landscape painted pink by cherry and peach blossoms. It's one of my favorite spots for hanami (flower viewing) in Japan, especially because it remains uncrowded even on weekends. Kids love it too, making it a great spot for families. When you visit this park, consider staying at the hotel located within the park and enjoy the onsen right above it.
About:
Fuefukigawa Fruit Park, apart from its beautiful springtime scenery, is a vibrant place with plenty to explore. It offers a fantastic night view of the Kofu Basin and features a Fruit Plaza that hosts concerts and indoor activities. There’s also a Fruit Museum where you can learn about fruit history, a Tropical Greenhouse that adds a bit of exotic flair, and a Fruit Workshop where you can enjoy local treats. For some outdoor fun, the T-Aqua Athletics area provides water-themed activities, and you can hop on the Peach and Grape Road Train for a scenic ride around the park.
